The Fort Saint Jean was built in the 600s and has protected the city for centuries! Its two towers were added later, in the 1400s and in the 1600s; it’s now a majestic symbol of Marseille!
Fort Saint-Jean Admirez la vue à 360 degrés sur la Major, le Vieux-Port, le Pharo, le MuCEM, et le Port de Marseille puis faites une pause dans les superbes jardins méditerranéens.
it was built 1660 by louis xIv at the entrance to the old port. it is linked by two thin bridges to the historical destrict le panier and to the musee des civilisations de I'europe
Nice fort located next to the MUCEM. Nice views of the sea and the other side of the coast ;)

I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.
