Baie-James is a region in Northern Quebec. The weather seems to vary quite a bit. In June of 2009, it was hot during the day and cool at night. It would be best to be prepared for colder weather, as June nighttime temps in the 30's F are not uncommon.

In Baie-James
Chibougamau, population 7500, is the largest regional centre in Northern Quebec. First founded as a mining village in 1950, Chibougamau was incorporated as a municipality in 1954.
