Baie-James 

Baie-James is a region in Northern Quebec. It is also called Eeyou Istchee. The regional centre Chibougamau-Chapais, a mining town of about 7500 people, serves as the point of entry into this remote and northern region and the end of the paved road.

Chibougamau, population 7500, is the largest regional centre in Northern Quebec. First founded as a mining village in 1950, Chibougamau was incorporated as a municipality in 1954.

Wemindji is a village in Quebec, located on James Bay, which is the southern part of Hudsons Bay.
