Cacheu is a small city in northwestern Guinea-Bissau. With public transport from Bissau, take a sept-place to Canchungo, then change to another for Cacheu.

The Bijagos Islands is an archipelago in Guinea-Bissau. The archipelago is made up of eighteen major islands and a dozen more smaller ones.

Bafatá is a city in Guinea-Bissau. Easily reached from Bissau - a two hour drive on a good road.

Bolama is a city in Guinea-Bissau. Pirogues are leaving regularly from Bissaus Pidjiguiti harbour, the ride takes about three hours.

Gabú is a city in Guinea-Bissau. It is a three hour drive from Bissau, or a one hour drive from Bafatá with a good road all the way.

Varela is a city in Guinea-Bissau. There is public transport from São Domingos, but if you're a group of 4-6 persons, it will be more comfortable to rent a seven-seat peugeot with a driver for some days.
