Guangxi is a relatively poor but highly scenic area in southern China. Technically it is known as the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, because of its large Zhuang minority population.
Tibet is sometimes described as the "roof of the world"; the entire region is on a high plateau and there are many large mountains.
Guizhou is a province in southwestern China. The local dialect of Guizhou is similar to that of Sichuan.
Lugu Lake is on the Yunnan/Sichuan border in China. A nice lake between Yunnan and Sichuan to relax one or two days.
