Western Greenland

Western Greenland is a region of Greenland. Home to the capital, Nuuk, this is the part of Greenland that you would probably think of if you've only seen the stereotypical picture.
Ilulissat is a city in Western Greenland. Located in the Disco Bay just by the Icefjord, from which it has gotten its name, Ilulissat has one of the most beautiful settings for a great Greenlandic experience.
Nuuk also known by its Danish name of Godthåb, is the capital and administrative centre of Greenland, with a population of around 15,000.
Kangerlussuaq is a settlement on the west coast of Greenland near the end of a fjord of the same name.
Uummannaq is a city in Western Greenland. Uummannaq is a town of about 1,300 people with another 1,300 residing in the surrounding settlements.
Sisimiut is a town in Western Greenland region of Greenland. Since the distances are very small, everything is walkable.
Qasigiannguit is a city in Western Greenland. It is located in the Disco Bay.
Oqaatsut is a village in Western Greenland. Oqaatsut or Rodebay is a coastal village with 46 inhabitants as of 2010.
