Parking is difficult to find but simple to pay for at check-in. I don't understand how the car park is controlled so requested a receipt which took a little time. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Good quality windows keep out most of the city noises. The location is excellent although can be very expensive depending on local events going on at the time of staying. The thing that let it down for me was the front of house staff at check-out. My plans changed and I checked out late evening, it was very difficult finding a staff member. When a young lady finally appeared I was quite sternly told, "you should of just left your key. You don't need to disturb me to check out" I walked away only to be then called back abd asked what room am I checking out of. Very rude, I left feeling very annoyed.
Good in general. Kind staff. Big clean modern room with super comfy bed. Located in the heart of the city... 5 mins walk from Man. Arena, Arndale Centre and Market St. On the negative side, looks like adjustable heating-A/C may not be powerful enough for the size of the room? There was an electric radiator in the room but it wouldn't turn on. It was a bit colder in the room than you'd expect...
Great location just a few minutes walk from the Arndale and local transport services. The room ( double room) was a good size with basic amenities in the bathroom. Tea & coffee is provided in the room. For the warmer months there is a fan in the room and If you're cold there is a heater. The room didn't have air conditioning. There is on-site restaurant and a Costa coffee. Check out was midday.
I normally love premier inns over most over brands of hotels. This one has the automatic check in desks, which I thought was slightly less personal but probably great given how close to the centre and the train station it is. The room was very warm even with the window open and there is no air conditioning, so be prepared for the rare time it is hot in the UK. Also the pillows were pretty flat, not what I normally get, but this and the heat didn't help my night's sleep much . Still a great hotel brand perhaps not one of my best stays with them.
Great central location. Ideal for the Arena or train station. The bar is a little small considering the capacity of the hotel but the rooms are very comfortable with mine having a great view towards the city centre. Breakfast was perfect.
