Cordillera Blanca

Cordillera Blanca is a region of Peru's Northern Sierra. The name Cordillera Blanca in and of itself sounds imposing. Known to be one of the biggest mountain ranges in the world, the majority of its peaks measure around 6000 m.a.s.l.
Popular destinations: Huaraz, Caraz and Chavín de Huántar
Huaraz is a large town in the Cordillera Blanca region of Peru's Central Sierra.
Caraz is a pretty little town in Peru. Until now its one of the few places, that has not been destroyed by earthquakes.
Chavín de Huántar is an archaeological site from the pre-Incan Chavin culture of around 900BC containing ruins and other artefacts.
Choose the road less travelled. And remember that the best places to visit are not in the guide.

I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move.
